Hanoi to Nha Trang: flight or train - which is better?

Flying is the best option for a 3-5 day trip to Nha Trang because it saves almost a full day of travel in each direction. A sleeper train makes more sense if you have a longer holiday and want to enjoy the journey through Vietnam.

A direct flight from Hanoi's Noi Bai Airport to Cam Ranh takes around two hours, while train SE3 leaves Hanoi at 7:20 PM and does not reach Nha Trang until 9:05 PM the following day. Some sleeper buses take 20-24 hours, much of it spent lying in a cabin or sitting on the road. With more than 1,200 kilometers between the cities, the real question is how much of your holiday you are willing to spend traveling.

How far is Hanoi from Nha Trang?

The distance between Hanoi and Nha Trang depends on how you travel. Road, rail, and air routes cover different distances, so there is no single figure that applies to every journey.

RouteApproximate distance
By road1,280-1,320 km
By train1,315 km
Straight-line distance between the cities1,050 km
Straight-line distance between Noi Bai and Cam Ranh airports1,090 km

The driving distance varies according to your starting point in Hanoi, your hotel in Nha Trang, and the expressways or national highways used. A distance of 1,280 km does not mean a bus can maintain a constant speed throughout the journey. Traffic, rest stops, passenger pickups, and road conditions all affect the arrival time.

The railway follows Vietnam's North-South line, passing through numerous cities and stopping at stations along the way. Covering approximately 1,315 km by train takes between 25 and almost 28 hours.

Flying covers a shorter distance, but a two-hour flight does not mean the entire journey takes two hours. You still need to reach Noi Bai Airport, complete check-in and security procedures, collect your luggage at Cam Ranh, and travel to your accommodation in Nha Trang.

Cam Ranh International Airport is approximately 35 km from central Nha Trang. The transfer usually takes around 45-60 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Nha Trang Railway Station, meanwhile, is located within the city at 17 Thai Nguyen Street. This is one advantage of taking the train: you arrive much closer to most central hotels.

The table below uses 2026 one-way fares from the operators. Door-to-door travel times are estimates for a journey from central Hanoi to a hotel in central Nha Trang. They exclude major delays, cancellations, and unusual traffic disruptions.

These are not fixed fares for every departure date. Airfares can rise sharply during holidays. Train tickets depend on the carriage, berth, and travel date. Bus fares vary with the operator, cabin type, and pickup or drop-off location.

The bus is not always the cheapest option. When promotional airfares fall below 1 million VND, the difference between flying and booking a premium sleeper cabin can be surprisingly small. In some cases, the flight itself may cost less than the bus ticket.

Flying from Hanoi to Nha Trang: best for short holidays

Flying should be your first option to check if you are planning a 3-day, 4-day, or 5-day holiday in Nha Trang. Direct flights depart from Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) and land at Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR). There is no need to connect through Ho Chi Minh City.

How long is the flight from Hanoi to Nha Trang?

Direct flights take between 1 hour 50 minutes and 2 hours 15 minutes. On Vietnam Airlines, the shortest flights take about 1 hour 40 minutes, depending on the service.

Two examples of 2026 flight times:

AirlineDeparture from Noi BaiArrival at Cam RanhFlight time
Vietnam Airlines6:30 PM8:30 PM2 hours
Vietjet Air7:50 PM9:40 PM1 hr 50 min

Departure times can change from day to day.

A morning flight is preferable if you want to reach Nha Trang before lunch and still have time to check in, eat, or visit the beach.

An evening flight suits travelers who need to work or spend the day in Hanoi. The downside is that you may not reach your hotel until late at night.

Cam Ranh's terminal at dusk, with the pick-up lane still quiet.

Arriving in Nha Trang in the morning does not guarantee immediate hotel check-in. Many hotels have their own check-in times, often in the afternoon.

The real door-to-door travel time

Suppose you are staying near Hoan Kiem Lake in central Hanoi. A typical journey to a hotel in Nha Trang might look like this:

Journey stageEstimated time
Central Hanoi to Noi Bai Airport45-75 minutes
Check-in, security, and boarding1.5-2 hours
Flight to Cam RanhAbout 2 hours
Disembarkation and baggage collection20-40 minutes
Cam Ranh Airport to central Nha Trang45-60 minutes
TotalApproximately 5.5-7 hours

This is a reasonable estimate for an ordinary domestic flight. If you travel with carry-on luggage only, complete online check-in, and have a driver waiting at Cam Ranh, the process may be quicker. Busy weekends, delayed flights, and checked baggage can add time.

Hanoi to Nha Trang flight prices in 2026

Flight prices vary much more than train and bus fares. You may find a ticket below 1 million VND during a quieter travel period, while a departure close to a major holiday can cost several times more.

In November 2026, Sun PhuQuoc Airways has one-way Hanoi-Nha Trang fares from 776,181 VND. Vietnam Airlines economy fares in 2026 start from 1,160,181 VND. These are starting prices, and many departures cost more.

When comparing Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air, check the final payment amount rather than relying on the first number shown in the booking calendar.

A low-cost ticket may not include checked baggage. Bringing a large suitcase, diving equipment, or other bulky belongings means checking the baggage allowance and additional fees. Also review the ticket's change and refund conditions.

A promotional ticket can be excellent value for a solo traveler with a backpack. A family of four carrying several suitcases may see a different total once baggage and other necessary extras are included.

Morning or evening flight: which is better?

Choose a morning flight if you want to make the most of your arrival day. Depending on the flight schedule, you may reach Cam Ranh before noon, have lunch in Nha Trang, and spend the afternoon near the beach.

An afternoon or evening flight is more convenient if you prefer not to wake up early or need to finish work in Hanoi. The disadvantage is that you may pay for a hotel night without getting much time to enjoy the destination.

A 3-day, 2-night trip works best with an early arrival and a late-afternoon or evening return, provided you leave enough time to reach Cam Ranh Airport. On trips of five days or more, flight times matter less.

Avoid choosing a long connecting itinerary simply because it is slightly cheaper. Since direct flights operate between Hanoi and Cam Ranh, a connection through another city rarely makes sense when the savings are small.

Hanoi to Nha Trang by train: more comfortable, but much slower

The train is worth considering if you do not want to fly, enjoy watching the Vietnamese countryside through the window, or want the North-South railway journey to be part of your holiday.

Trains depart from Hanoi Railway Station at 120 Le Duan Street.

How long does the train from Hanoi to Nha Trang take?

The timetable for November 7, 2026, lists five services: SE1, SE3, SE5, SE7, and SE9.

TrainDeparture from HanoiArrival in Nha TrangDuration
SE76:00 AM8:40 AM next day26 hr 40 min
SE58:00 AM10:17 AM next day26 hr 17 min
SE91:00 PM4:52 PM next day27 hr 52 min
SE37:20 PM9:05 PM next day25 hr 45 min
SE19:45 PM10:35 PM next day24 hr 50 min

Train schedules are subject to operational changes, so always check the timetable for your actual travel date.

This matters when planning your accommodation and counting your available sightseeing days.

For example, imagine leaving Hanoi on Friday evening aboard SE1. If the train follows the timetable above, you will arrive in Nha Trang late on Saturday night. After reaching your hotel and getting some rest, Sunday becomes your first full day in the city. Compared with flying on Saturday morning, you have effectively lost almost a full day at your destination.

Hanoi to Nha Trang train ticket prices in 2026

Vietnam Railways fares for travel on November 7, 2026, include:

Train and seat typeOne-way fare
SE7 - soft seat1,090,000 VND
SE5 - soft seat1,255,000 VND
SE1 - soft seat1,277,000 VND
SE9 - 6-berth sleeper1,486,000 VND
SE3 - 6-berth sleeper1,671,000 VND

These are Vietnam Railways fares. Insurance charges are not included. The examples do not represent every class available on each train. Exact prices depend on the carriage, berth position, departure date, and passenger category.

Approximately 1,315 km is a long way to sit simply to save money. Sitting for more than a day is very different from taking a short train journey from Hanoi to Vinh or Dong Hoi. After the first night, you may still have many hours of sitting ahead of you.

A six-berth sleeper cabin is usually a more practical choice for such a long trip. Travelers who want more privacy and fewer passengers in their cabin can look at four-berth sleeper compartments, although these cost more.

Use sleeper prices when you compare the train with flights.

Is the Hanoi to Nha Trang sleeper train worth it?

Yes, if you have enough time and are comfortable spending roughly 25-28 hours traveling in one direction.

The main difference between a sleeper train and a sleeper bus is the amount of space available. On a train, you can lie down on a proper berth, stand up, walk through the carriage, use the toilet, and change position throughout the journey.

Sleeper buses have reclining beds or private cabins, but their dimensions depend on the vehicle. Not every bus cabin offers enough length or width for a tall passenger to stretch out comfortably.

However, a sleeper train is not a silent hotel room. Rail noise, movement, passengers boarding at intermediate stations, and conversations in the compartment may disturb your sleep.

Light sleepers may find earplugs useful. A light jacket is also worth packing, along with a small bag for your passport, phone, wallet, water, and other essentials.

Food needs some planning too. Since the journey takes more than a day, a single bottle of water and a few snacks will not be enough. Check what meals or refreshments are available on your particular service and bring additional food and water as needed.

SE1, SE3, or a daytime train?

SE1 is the fastest of the November 2026 services, taking approximately 24 hours 50 minutes. Its disadvantage is arriving in Nha Trang at 10:35 PM.

SE3 arrives at 9:05 PM, about 90 minutes earlier than SE1, even though its total travel time is longer.

SE7 leaves Hanoi at 6:00 AM and reaches Nha Trang at 8:40 AM the following day. This is useful if you prefer arriving in daylight, leaving your luggage at the hotel, and starting your visit in the morning. The trade-off is spending a full day, an entire night, and part of another morning on the train.

SE5 is another option for a daytime arrival, reaching Nha Trang at approximately 10:17 AM.

Do not choose a train solely because its travel time is one or two hours shorter. Check its arrival time, sleeper availability, and whether your hotel can accommodate you at that hour.

Is Nha Trang Railway Station close to the beach?

Nha Trang Railway Station is centrally located, making it more convenient than Cam Ranh Airport for travelers staying within the city.

From the station, you can take a taxi or ride-hailing service to hotels around Tran Phu Street, Hung Vuong Street, Nguyen Thien Thuat Street, or Biet Thu Street. The drive is generally short when traffic is light, although the exact time depends on your hotel's location.

A train arriving between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM calls for accommodation with reception available at that hour, so tell the hotel your expected arrival time. There is little reason to carry heavy luggage on foot from the station just to save the cost of a short taxi ride.

Hanoi to Nha Trang by sleeper bus: is it worth the long ride?

The sleeper bus requires the most careful consideration. Some operators offer private cabins with curtains, air conditioning, and reasonably comfortable sleeping spaces. Even so, you will spend approximately 20-26 hours on the road. The journey also depends on traffic, passenger pickups, drop-offs, and scheduled rest stops.

Some buses are faster than the train. Selected bus services take about 20-23 hours, compared with nearly 25-28 hours by rail. But you still have less room to move than on a train.

Sleeper bus operators from Hanoi to Nha Trang

In 2026, the route is served by Thuan Hung Travel, HK BUSLINES, Hoang Long, and other companies.

OperatorTravel time2026 fare
Thuan Hung TravelApproximately 20-22 hr 15 min on selected tripsFrom 760,000 VND
HK BUSLINESApproximately 23 hr 30 minAbout 1,450,000-1,550,000 VND depending on service and booking platform
Hoang Long (Bac-Trung-Nam)Approximately 26 hours on selected schedulesAround 1,150,000-1,200,000 VND

Availability and operating schedules vary, so confirm the service before booking.

Some Thuan Hung Travel departures run from the operator's Hanoi office to Nha Trang's Northern Bus Station. One example leaves at 7:00 AM and is scheduled to arrive at approximately 3:00 AM the next day, a journey of about 20 hours.

That looks fast on paper, but arriving at 3:00 AM creates another problem. You will need accommodation that can receive you at that hour or a prearranged pickup. Otherwise, you may find yourself standing outside a bus station in the middle of the night.

HK BUSLINES runs services between 70 Nguyen Huu Huan Street in Hanoi and its Nha Trang office at 6 Ngo Van So Street. Some departures run at 8:00 AM and 7:30 PM, with a journey time of approximately 23 hours 30 minutes. The 7:30 PM departure would arrive around 7:00 PM the next day, which is often easier to manage than an early-morning arrival, provided the operator confirms the timetable.

Hoang Long services may use pickup points around Nuoc Ngam Bus Station in Hanoi. However, some services drop passengers along National Highway 1A rather than in central Nha Trang. Confirm the precise drop-off address on these trips.

Check the pickup and drop-off points carefully

A ticket labeled "Hanoi to Nha Trang" does not necessarily mean the bus travels from Hanoi's city center to the beachfront. In Hanoi, your boarding point might be an operator office, Nuoc Ngam Bus Station, or a designated stop along a major road. In Nha Trang, the drop-off point might be the Northern Bus Station, the operator's office, or somewhere along National Highway 1A.

Two buses can charge the same fare while offering very different levels of convenience. A service dropping you at an office within Nha Trang may be easier than one leaving you beside the highway with luggage.

Can you sleep comfortably on a sleeper bus?

Your height, the cabin layout, and how easily you sleep in a moving vehicle all matter.

Two tiers of berths in a Thaco Mobihome bus, with a narrow aisle down the middle.

Shorter and average-height passengers may find sleeper cabins adequate. Tall travelers, light sleepers, and people prone to motion sickness may struggle more.

Buses stop for breaks on the operator's schedule. Unlike a train, you cannot simply get up and walk around whenever you feel uncomfortable.

More than 20 hours means sitting or lying in one position for long periods. If prolonged immobility is unsuitable for your health, another form of transport may be a better choice.

Sleeper buses make the most sense for solo travelers who are accustomed to long overnight road journeys, have flexible itineraries, and can find tickets substantially cheaper than other options. Families with young children, older travelers, and anyone who needs proper rest after a long journey will find flying easier. A sleeper train gives you more freedom to move if you prefer to stay on the ground.

Compare the total cost, not just ticket prices

A common mistake when comparing transport from Hanoi to Nha Trang is looking at three ticket prices and automatically choosing the lowest one. The actual cost also includes transfers, luggage, food, and potentially the value of holiday time lost in transit.

Extra costs when flying

Beyond the Hanoi-Cam Ranh flight ticket, you need to consider transport from your accommodation to Noi Bai Airport, the transfer from Cam Ranh to Nha Trang, and any additional baggage charges.

From central Hanoi, buses can cost less than taxis, but you need to check the route, service hours, and stops. From Cam Ranh Airport, there are several ways to reach Nha Trang. The airport is around 35 km from the city center.

For a three-day holiday, there is usually little benefit in spending hours comparing small differences in airport transfer costs after finding an affordable direct flight. The time saved by flying is often more valuable.

Is the train actually cheaper than flying?

Not necessarily.

In November 2026, six-berth sleeper tickets on Vietnam Railways cost approximately 1.5-1.7 million VND one way. If you can find a direct flight for around 1 million VND on the same date, the sleeper train may be more expensive than the airfare.

You also need food and refreshments for more than a day of travel. On the other hand, Nha Trang Railway Station is central, so the transfer to your hotel may be considerably cheaper than traveling from Cam Ranh Airport.

It is also misleading to assume that sleeping on a train automatically saves one night's hotel cost. SE1 and SE3 travel through the night but continue for almost the entire following day, reaching Nha Trang in the evening. Whether you save money depends on the full itinerary.

When is the sleeper bus the cheapest choice?

A sleeper bus can offer good value if you find a ticket around 760,000-900,000 VND and the pickup and drop-off locations work for you.

The advantage becomes smaller when a premium cabin costs around 1.5 million VND. At that price, the bus may cost as much as, or more than, a flight booked in advance.

Sleeper buses suit travelers whose budget is the main priority, who can travel on flexible dates, and who do not need to arrive at a precise time.

Which transport should you choose for a 3-, 5-, or 7-day trip?

The length of your holiday usually makes the decision easier than comparing individual departure times.

3 days, 2 nights: fly

Fly both ways

Three days is too short to spend more than a day traveling in each direction by train or bus.

For example, suppose you have Friday morning through Sunday evening available. Flying to Nha Trang on Friday morning and returning to Hanoi on Sunday afternoon or evening gives you most of that period at your destination. Leave Hanoi by train on Friday afternoon or evening and you may not arrive until Saturday. The return train requires another full day or more. That simply does not fit a three-day holiday.

4 days, 3 nights: flying is still better

Fly both ways

Four days gives you enough time to enjoy Tran Phu Beach, visit several attractions within Nha Trang, and potentially take an island excursion when the weather is suitable.

But four days is not a long holiday. Spending 25-28 hours on a train each way means more than two full days are devoted to transport.

On a beach holiday or family trip, flying gets you there less exhausted.

5 days, 4 nights: consider a one-way train journey

Train down, fly back

Five days is where combining transport types becomes a possibility, especially if you want to experience Vietnam's North-South railway.

You could take the train from Hanoi to Nha Trang and fly back to Noi Bai. This works for travelers who are interested in a long train journey but do not want to spend another 25-28 hours on the return trip.

However, five calendar days of travel will not mean five full days in Nha Trang. A significant portion of your time is still spent getting there.

Flying both ways remains the better option for five days by the sea.

7-10 days: the train becomes more appealing

Sleeper train

With a week or more available, setting aside a day for the railway journey has less impact on your holiday.

You may want to enjoy the scenery of central Vietnam, experience an overnight sleeper cabin, or combine Nha Trang with other stops along the railway.

In this case, the train becomes part of the travel experience rather than merely a way to reach the destination.

The sleeper bus remains an option for people comfortable with long road journeys, but it has no obvious comfort advantage over a sleeper train unless its price or pickup location works substantially better for you.

Hanoi to Nha Trang for international travelers

International visitors fall into two groups: those who have already spent a few days in Hanoi and those arriving at Noi Bai Airport from overseas.

If you are staying in central Hanoi

From the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, or another central neighborhood, the simplest option is usually a direct flight from Noi Bai to Cam Ranh.

When searching flight booking platforms, look for the airport codes HAN and CXR. Make sure the destination is Cam Ranh-Nha Trang rather than another airport in central Vietnam.

For an overnight rail journey, search for "Hanoi to Nha Trang sleeper train."

Be aware that the term sleeper train does not mean you sleep for one night and arrive the following morning. The Hanoi-Nha Trang railway journey takes approximately 25-28 hours. You will spend both daytime and nighttime hours on the train.

Common ticket categories include:

  • Soft seat: A reclining seat rather than a bed.
  • 6-berth sleeper: A shared compartment containing six berths.
  • 4-berth sleeper: A compartment containing four berths, generally providing more space and privacy.

Choose a sleeper berth over a regular seat if your budget allows.

When booking, make sure the passenger name and identification details match the documents you will use for travel. Vietnam Railways requires passenger information to be consistent with ticket records and the relevant identity documents.

If you have just landed at Noi Bai Airport

If your itinerary allows it, continuing by air from Noi Bai to Cam Ranh is generally easier than traveling into Hanoi to catch a train or sleeper bus.

However, passengers arriving from overseas must allow enough time for immigration, baggage collection, any terminal transfer, and domestic check-in. This is particularly important if you book two flights on separate tickets. A delayed international arrival may cause you to miss your domestic flight without protection under a single connecting itinerary.

Foreign nationals flying domestically in Vietnam should carry the appropriate passport or accepted travel documents and any immigration or residency documents required for their circumstances. Do not assume a photograph of your passport on your phone will be sufficient.

On trains and buses, keep the necessary original documents available and save your booking details along with the pickup and drop-off addresses in both Vietnamese and English.

Should international travelers take the sleeper bus?

A sleeper bus may suit visitors who have already traveled extensively around Vietnam and are familiar with long-distance bus services.

It is less appealing immediately after a long international flight. Spending another 20 hours or more in a bus cabin can be tiring, especially if you have already been traveling for most of the previous day.

Services arriving between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM also require advance planning. You should know where you will go after getting off the bus, how you will get there, and whether the hotel can accommodate your arrival.

A sleeper train deserves serious consideration alongside the bus if you want to save money and still lie down.

Things to check before booking

Do not confuse Nha Trang with Cam Ranh

Flight tickets use the airport code CXR because Cam Ranh International Airport serves Nha Trang. The airport is not located in the city center.

A ticket marked CXR brings you here, still about 35 km from central Nha Trang.

Trains, by contrast, arrive directly at Nha Trang Railway Station. Some buses ticketed to "Nha Trang" stop along National Highway 1A rather than in the city center.

Check the arrival date, not just departure time

This is particularly important for sleeper trains and buses.

A train leaving Hanoi on Friday evening may reach Nha Trang late on Saturday. A bus departing on Friday morning may arrive early Saturday morning. These two schedules create very different accommodation and sightseeing arrangements.

Always check the arrival date and time printed on the booking before reserving your hotel.

Review change and refund conditions

Low-cost airfares often come with more restrictive change or refund policies. Train and bus operators also have their own rules, sometimes based on how far in advance you cancel or change your reservation.

With uncertain holiday dates, a slightly more expensive fare with better flexibility may be more practical than the cheapest ticket.

Leave time between arrivals and activities

Avoid booking an island tour immediately after your scheduled arrival at Cam Ranh Airport, Nha Trang Railway Station, or a bus drop-off point.

Long-distance trains and buses may arrive later than planned for operational reasons. Air passengers also need time for baggage collection and the transfer into Nha Trang.

A more manageable itinerary allows you to arrive, reach your accommodation, eat something, and rest before starting your main activities.

Check the weather during the rainy season

Heavy rain and tropical storms in central Vietnam can disrupt roads, railway operations, and flights.

Before departure, check official weather forecasts along with notices from your airline, railway operator, or bus company.

If dangerous weather warnings are issued or services are adjusted, follow the instructions of transport providers and relevant authorities.

Do not build a tightly scheduled itinerary around the assumption that a bus covering more than 1,200 km will always arrive exactly on time.

The best choice for different travelers

Someone flying to Nha Trang for a two-day business trip will usually prioritize speed and punctuality. A retired traveler with plenty of free time and an interest in Vietnam's landscapes may enjoy the sleeper train more.

Budget-conscious students should compare all three options rather than assuming the bus is always cheapest. Promotional flights can occasionally cost less than premium sleeper cabins, while train fares vary considerably between seat and berth types.

Flying is the easiest choice for families with young children when there are no particular health or accessibility constraints. A two-hour flight greatly reduces the time children must spend confined to a vehicle.

Travelers who dislike flying can choose a sleeper train. The journey takes much longer, but the ability to walk through the carriage and change position offers an advantage over spending an entire day in a bus cabin.

People traveling slowly across Vietnam without a strict schedule may want the railway for the journey itself.

For most holidays from Hanoi to Nha Trang, flying is the most practical choice. Take the train when you want the railway experience and have enough time. Choose a sleeper bus when its fare, pickup location, or other practical details offer a clear benefit.

A direct flight from Hanoi takes about two hours in the air, while the SE1 train takes 24 hours 50 minutes to reach Nha Trang. On a short holiday, that difference can mean an extra day enjoying the beach instead of watching the hours pass on the way south.

FAQ

How far is Hanoi from Nha Trang?

The road distance is approximately 1,280-1,320 km, depending on the route, while the railway distance is about 1,315 km. The straight-line distance between the two cities is around 1,050 km. If you fly, remember that Noi Bai and Cam Ranh airports are both outside their respective city centers, so additional ground transfers are necessary.

How long is the flight from Hanoi to Nha Trang?

A direct flight from Noi Bai to Cam Ranh usually takes around 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes. For the entire journey from central Hanoi to a hotel in central Nha Trang, allow approximately 5.5-7 hours under normal conditions. This includes airport transfers, check-in, security, the flight, and baggage collection.

How long does the train from Hanoi to Nha Trang take?

On the November 2026 timetable, the journey takes between 24 hours 50 minutes and 27 hours 52 minutes. SE1 is the fastest service, leaving Hanoi at 9:45 PM and reaching Nha Trang at approximately 10:35 PM the following day. Plan for more than one full day of travel in each direction.

Is the sleeper bus from Hanoi to Nha Trang worth it?

It can be worthwhile if you find a significantly cheaper ticket, have convenient pickup and drop-off points, and are comfortable on long-distance buses. Some services take around 20-24 hours, but the bus is not necessarily the most comfortable option. For a 3-5 day holiday, flying usually makes more sense. If you prefer traveling overland, also compare sleeper trains.

Can foreigners book a Hanoi to Nha Trang sleeper train?

Yes. International visitors can book available sleeper berths on suitable North-South Railway services. Look for 6-berth sleeper or 4-berth sleeper options and enter your passport details correctly when booking. The journey takes approximately 25-28 hours, so it is not an overnight service that arrives in Nha Trang the following morning.
